Based on the blog this morning, looks like some real nasty weather for the first two days. Super cold, snow sleet and ice. Could be a challenge getting to the lake for the anglers. Anyone ever had to tow a boat in snow or ice? Think they will finish on schedule or delay?

Very dangerous towing in snow and ice. The boat has a mind of it's own and does not track well back there. 4X4 at 30 mph. is all you can do and you wish you stayed home. I look for them to call it off and opt. for a better day.

The Classic was moved from the fall to summer so families could attend but ESPN changed that.

Lol never really understood having the classic in Feb. Kind of like kicking off the season with the championship.

It's definitely not typical weather for South Carolina this time of year. If they want to avoid cold and snow for the Classic, they need to fish in Florida every year. Everywhere else has a chance of snow, even the other southern states get some snow this time of year. I think it's a great test for the best in the world. If you can't catch them in tough conditions, you shouldn't win the Classic.
