Yep it is a fine choice especially in the heat of the summer because its cooler. Snappers, kings, and grouper feed nice at night as well as sharks. AJ are caught at night but it is a rare event. Slim chance you could get into black fin tuna, they feed great at night but usually a 12 hour is not far enough out to catch them consistently.
Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?
