trimmed me up an ear plug and there ya have it

of course I just had to go pitch it in the water as you might have imagined
its a shame I wasted my 45 minutes on the water with it though
it was to bulky and I couldn't make the presentation work
so back to my beloved Thermocline Lures I went
and got it handed to me ANYWAY
dang things were up tight to the bank and sinking my float
and the best I could do was ONE crappie ?
dang the bad luck

don't know why I missed so many fish ?
sure was frustrating to see the float go down
and set the hook to nada
oh well I spose ...

spawners is pretty easy to ketch
but them fish there wasn't havin nun of it

We use them ear plugs to make popper flies, rig them as popper and dropper. I bet you can use as a float above your jig.

Ketchn, know you have this jig thing going but I am thinking about opening a BBQ doughnut place over your way. If you have the time we may want to talk later.

btw ....did you know them BIG wild Alaskan rainbows will smash an orange strike indicator ?
I take quite a few hits on my floats down here in the lower 48 as well
even had a crappie do it one day down on the trinity
