Sure you just buy these from me! I sell them rigged with a soft plastic or un rigged so you can add your go to bait.

Andy's a good guy chance. He fishes south texas and is a good guide down there.
Not much to fishing a spoon Chance. Reel it in at different speeds and you might even twitch the rod occasionally or pump it up and down like a fishing a worm.
Spinner rigs like Andy's talking about are great for reds as well. fish it the same as a spoon too.
good luck buddy t

Best tip I've got is to let it fall after the cast, don't start reeling it in right away. I'll let them fall a good 5-count at least, then start the retrieve with a slight twitch. Twitch it in, and about every 10 feet or so let it stop, drop the rod-tip to half-staff to give it some slack, and let it dead-fall about a 3-count. Then twitch-start the retrieve and start over again. Clear water/bright day subtle stops and twitches on the retrieve. You want the "flash." Dark water/overcast/night a little more of an aggressive "stop-fall-bump" on the retrieve. You want it moving water and making "noise" underwater on the "bump." A couple glass beads in front of the spoon can help make noise, too. Copper for reds, silver for specs has been my experience. I'm by no means a pro angler and I'm sure you'll get lots of better advice here.

You want the spoon to wobble not spinn.

You can tell that to the 100 redfish that have been caught on my rigs this year so far.
