Something similar to this has probably been posted before, but I just wanted to share. A friend of mine had a similar clamp to hold his A-Rig when not in use. I found these at Home Depot. They come in a small container with 3 clamps and were only like $1.87 for the 3 clamps. They work perfect!

The ring from a large gatorade bottle works well.

Zip tie. Leave the loop large enough that it will slip over the head of the A-Rig.

Thanks that looks perfect and easier than the zipties velcro strap etc specially when it's tied.

Go to ebay and search for "Custom offshore tackle fishing rod wrap". The best thing i've found for A-rigs. It's velcro and neoprene.

I like the Nite Ize gear ties best. They have many other uses also. They are a rubber coated twist tie. I use the 3inch one to wrap around the wires of the A-rig and then I wrap the whole thing to the rod with the 6inch one. They make them in many different lengths. I use some of the longer ones to secure electrical extension cords together.

I got mine from Home depot and then I ordered some online directly from Nite Ize because they have many other colors Home Depot did not have.

I use the clear plastic case from my shame. Its big enough to hold the hooks with baits and everything on it and it don't get hung up on anything.
