Well sort of. All they need is a trip to the lake and a little luck and I'll be eatin some fried up whisker fish.
I had some old 1/2" pcv and so I decided to make use of it instead of throwing it away.
These are just too easy to make.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

The rebar is for your "Flagging" Jugs. The rebar goes inside the PVC. When you place the jug in the water, balancing the rebar in the middle of the jug it will lay flat. When a fish hits it, gets on the hook then the jug will flag, or stand up. Letting you know to check your jug. I love mines....

Finished product. I made up 4ft. 6ft. and 8ft leaders out of 65lb spiderwire with 5/0 Octopus hooks. It took more time to tie on the leaders and hooks than it did to make the Noodle floats.
All I need now is for some good fishing weather so these don't blow off the lake.
