We are thinking about going camping there thursday. And have never been to texoma. We wont be bringing the boat so the fishing will be from the shore. How is the fishing? Any spot better than others. And what kind of bait? I know im asking alot, but we dont get the chance to get out much. I want to thank you in advance, danny

I would thing you would have a better chance of catching fish camping at Junper Point West. Should be able to find shad close to the boat ramp too. The down side is the facilities will be MINIMAL there compared to the St Park. Good luck to ya!

Way too early for Eisenhower. Nice camping though.

East is closed. I believe that West stays open. You might want to call them.

we have camped in the armadillo hill area at Eisenhower and done very well from shore on 12-15" smallmouth. small squarebills is what I use,my wife does ok on small swimbaits as well. Only caught striper there later in spring and early summer. Good luck, the campground and scenery is awesome
