I'm gonna try and make one with a Fiberglass pool cleaning pole. Extend from 6 ft to 18 ft anyone ever thought of this? Using the anchor is getting old and time consuming even with a trolly setup

Seems to me that would be difficult to push in deep enough to effectively hold.

seems to me anything that extends in a telescoping fashion just seems like it wont work good, i got a solid one that 10' and i just set it in my paddle holders never seems to get in the way

I actually use one of these some of the time...depending on where I am going.
I just cut the top off and I am good to go.
It is not the best but it does work.
