I've got My eyes set on the new cuda As I love everything I see about it now just waiting for my tax return money to get in.. I have a few questions though
Being im in east Texas where would be the nearest dealer for me to make the purchase? Right now mountain sports looks like my best bet as its about a two hour drive from Tyler
Next is transducer compatiblity. I have a elite 4 Hdi witch has a pretty fat skimmer transducer. I'm wanting to do away with the rudder style mount and use the lowarnce scupper method. Is there room for a 4 hdi transducer in the scuppers?

Call Dave at Kayak Instruction in Rowlett. He's the Jackson dealer. I bought my Cuda 14 from him. Great guy. His number is 214-629-4794.

i have a 2013 cuda and the elite 4 hdi transducer doesn't fit in scuppers it will hang under the hull a bit so i stayed with side mounting on a ram transducer arm. not sure on the 2015

If possible take your transducer with you to Mountain Sports. The guys there are very knowledgeable and will be able to help you determine best how to mount it.

The Lowrance 4HDI transducer won't fit in the scupper recess. I would recommend hanging it over the side with a transducer arm, or mounting it inside the hull. I have been most happy with the Harmony Gear Slide Trax transducer arm because you can remove the whole system in seconds. We can install your accessories for free while you wait.
