Posting here due to lack of activity in line & knots
What is the smallest diameter good mono line out there in 17-20 lb test?

Thanks

In my opinion one of the best mono lines on the market for the price is Big Game, although it is about average diameter for its pound test rating. I no longer use mono because I like a co-polymer line better. A good thin co-polymer line is P-Line Premium and it is a relatively thin line for its pound test rating. McCoys Mean Green is another good co-polymer line although it is also about average in diameter per pound test rating.

I use a couple of other lines for certain applications but that wasn't what you asked about, so I will leave it at that.

In mono you might try Stren Magnathin. Very good line. Small diameter, supple, and strong.

Go to Tackle Warehouse, pull up mono line and start comparing the diameters between the brands. They usually list their dimensions.
