Might try to head out to travis in 2 weeks and was wondering if anyone has been their lately and give me a report on it.

water temps 55* - 59*
water clear with several feet visibility
lots of bait shallow and deep
fish are in a normal winter to pre-spawn pattern.

chris, i'm not seeing much warmer weather in the forecasts, at least here in the hinterlands of far north collin cty.i am eagerly awaiting the spring.

+1... Seeing nothing but highs in the 40,s/50's and lows in the 30's for at least the next 4-6 days...

i don't see much warmth forecast in the time frame you/he referenced. hope they are wrong. my week off includes 2 strong arctic fronts and 2 snow events. i can't get that mad at them.

yea not sure what I was looking at when I said that. I thought I saw some warmer weather and after that post I went back and looked and it's all cold. I stand corrected....

They were all shallow the other day while I was out there.
