water temps 55* - 59*
water clear with several feet visibility
lots of bait shallow and deep
fish are in a normal winter to pre-spawn pattern.

chris, i'm not seeing much warmer weather in the forecasts, at least here in the hinterlands of far north collin cty.i am eagerly awaiting the spring.

chris, i'm not seeing much warmer weather in the forecasts, at least here in the hinterlands of far north collin cty.i am eagerly awaiting the spring. +1... Seeing nothing but highs in the 40,s/50's and lows in the 30's for at least the next 4-6 days...

i don't see much warmth forecast in the time frame you/he referenced. hope they are wrong. my week off includes 2 strong arctic fronts and 2 snow events. i can't get that mad at them.

yea not sure what I was looking at when I said that. I thought I saw some warmer weather and after that post I went back and looked and it's all cold. I stand corrected....
They were all shallow the other day while I was out there.
