Just bought my first bass boat and wanted to see if anybody had any tips or any other advice they could share with me. I've been around bass fishing my whole life, just have never had my own bass boat to truly fish on my own. Whatever advice you got would help greatly!

Just a cheap 1985 Bass Tracker with a 30 motor. Nothing special, still learning!

You need a good trolling Motor.

I wish I had my 95 Bass Tracker back.
Great boats........
upgrade the trolling motor, add some graphs (not expensive)
and don't let anyone tell you it is too small.
fish the heck put of it. The fish don't know what your in and it will catch just as many fish as the other boats.
Don't get boat envey of the bigger boats, launch close to where you want to fish and/or fish close to where you have to launch.
Then most of all,,,,,,,enjoy the heck out of it.

Quit now while you still have some of your money and sanity! No just kidding.

Tip - always wear your life jacket with the kill switch lanyard connected to it.

Be safe,
