The park is open with a boat ramp. Earlier than they usually do (April 1st). Anyone get out there and have any luck with largemouth bass? I bank fished a couple of lures but only had one bite on a live bait I had out. There was a lot of boats out and just wanted to see if anyone had any luck.

Did they open the main ramp or still using the low water ramp?

The bite has been slow. As usual this time of year tho, the ones you do catch will be bigger. I actually caught my personal best on Valentine's day...

The bite will turn on hard in about a month. Used to fish Lavon daily while in high school and smoke all the old guys in the working man tourneys LOL. How much did that guy up there go on the scales?
