Going to fish small swimbaits - the solid soft plastic ones that are up to 6" long and weigh less than 2 oz. Not going to expand to larger swimbaits. Want to find a casting rod that is 7'2"-7'6" with some flex in the tip (no pool cues) for better control in casting to use for these baits. Don't want any telescopic handles. Solid cork or split grip OK. Have a budget of $150 or less and great if I could find a used one in excellent condition.
Please provide your suggestions.
Thanks for your help! "befuddled"

Lots of good ones on the market for that price. I bought a Halo for that money and really like it.

If you want slightly longer I have an Okuma Guide Select 7'11" MH rated for 1-4oz that has been used 2 trips I'm willing to sale. Pm if interested. Good rod just don't use it ever.
I can backlash toilet paper.

For that price range a MH Daiwa DXSB swimbait rid is oerfect. Under $100 and has great features.

Hi Mark;
Looked them up and the shortest I saw was 8' - too long.

Would a flipping stick with a 1 1/2-2 oz weight limit work for these lighter swimbaits?

try one of these 2 fornthe tip action you need...the Daiwa TAT741HFB or Duckett Terex 7.4H...both are frog rods built to have the tip action you need. Both priced where you need it. thanks!

Find a used Dobyns 764C rod and stay under your budget. It'll be perfect.
