Does anyone use duo-lock snaps on deep divers or do you just tie direct? If so, what size/lb rating?

I was under the impression that 'snaps' were strictly NOT used when bass fishing.
Ok, confused. Some of you do use them?
God Bless

I use the BPS Interlock snap. I think it's a #7. 12lb fluorocarbon

iv been using bass snaps on all crank baits for over 50 years and see no loss in action...as a matter of fact iv hand made over 5000 balsa cranks and tuned and run them on a bass snap.

We sure would like to see some of these crankbaits you have made.
I have used the snaps and that don't seem to hurt the action that I can tell. Just do not swap crank baits enough to fill like I need them.

Hard to use a chatterbait without a snap, but I use split rings on my cranks.

X1 for the Norman speed clips. They work great and they're easy to use...don't have to worry about the line getting cut by the split ring. They will get stretched to an oval shape after heavy use...talking casting heavy baits over months.
