Less interested in the movie, I hit the lake and my wife encouraged me to go fishing on such a beautiful day and we did Valentine's day the day after. Saturday was perfect weather, but the fishing was slow. Toward the end of the trip we decided to hit one last spot We boated a 14.5, 10+, and an 8 lber. We found a drop off near a flat and caught these 27 foot of water on Sassy shad. Flukes were not touched. Below if the 14+ fish.

Below is various photos of this winters fishing on Texoma. I learn every trip and nothing beats time on the water. Some trips were great action and others slow, but no complaints. Great fishing on Texoma this winter. The baits I used and alternated with were 4 inch zoom flukes 5 inch glow sassy shad, and coho minnows in glow color. Pearl white is my #1 choice for flukes, but I also carry chartreuse and bubble gum. I made a video at the link below a long time ago if you haven't see it.

Now, I don't keep all fish, but I do like blackened stripe bass. It's one of my favorites. Be sure to remove all the red meat off the flesh. Enjoy! Good luck out there and be safe! cheers

Nice pics.

I didn't like striper much until I tried it blackened. That's the way to cook it.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.
