i will be hitting fork tomorrow for the 3rd time ever so i am not very familiar with the pond and i am looking for the easiest place to launch if you are solo. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

also if you have any tips other than try and find some grass and throw a jig, drop shot, or chatterbait. i am all ears. ive been keeping my eyes peeled on the forums for info the past week.

thanks guys!!

I have launched just fine at the public ramps the last couple of weeks. No issues at all.

I gave some tips almost daily on the Fork thread mentioned below. Short of GPS coordinates you will find some really solid info on that post from a few people.

Its a grind but they are biting. You gotta fish thorough but keep moving if you are not getting bit. If a stump looks good then throw to it more than a couple of times. Try different angles. Somedays they are up off the bottom a bit and suspending on the stumps and some days they are on the bottom. Adjust jig size and trailer accordingly. Find a channel. focus on the swings and just start getting a bait wet. No secrets or no magic. Just hard fishing.

+1 for 515 W... Plenty of room to beach, steep enough to launch and enter boat to back off the trailer w/o getting wet. Fairly safe place to park, and close to LFM for a meal!
