It was suggested that the new Disco Gold & Disco Silver might be "Th' Go-To" if painted on a minnow head. Well, I just happen to have a handful of Ron Don's 1/12oz Minnow Head's left so I went fer it. The photo's don't really show the true FLASH of this new powder paint. WADAYA think?

Looks fine, but that Gold to me looks a lot like that Translucent Gold I have??

Suggestion: tie about 6 of those silver ones and drop them in the water and see what happens. If you don't like them, tie 6 more and ship the whole mess to me.  Good looking paint and combos. That silver jig will catch any time any place there are crappie willing to bite.

The silver not only is a great head, but you have the whole thing right. Don't have to see that in the water it will work.

Hey I have some Gold Crystal that would probably go better on that Gold head?? Need to see what I have as I have not looked at the Gold in while.

Yeah Skip, I really wanted Gold for the body but I wanted bigger than #3 Nylon which was all I had in Gold. That Copper was the best I could do. Now if you look and happen to find you have an abundance of Gold in #8, #10, #12, or whatever Crystal, you can add some to my current order.

Like both of them. I like the gold head. The silver probably looks like the minnow!!

Gold is the color to use  But, like I thought, the #3 nylon, even double wrapped isn't quite the look I'm after. I'm hoping you have some BIG Gold Crystal lying around somewhere.
