Im new to the forum. I am planning on taking the new yak out saturday but havent fished since hunting season started last fall. Anyone had any luck on any fort worth lakes in the past couple of weeks?

Arlington by the dam has been on for large mouth. I haven't heard anything good for crappie.

I dunno if you saw but a bunch of us will be hitting Tawakoni on Saturday. We will be chasing the stripe type of bass. You are more than welcome to join in.

Welcome to the Forum, I will be hitting Benbrook Lake sunday morning your more than welcomed to join. I just fish to catch what I might target some kitties but the dam. we will launch from holiday park.

Welcome! How did you do? I heard that eagle mountain crappie have been being caught by the boat load just for everyone's info. I was sick all weekend so didn't get to fish at all

Ended up going to Benbrook. Only hooked up with one large mouth. Tried a little bit of everything and couldn't find em. Slow day. But it was good to get out on the new yak and not get skunked on the first trip...Always a good sign.

Welcome. I am new to kayak fishing as well. I live in SW fort worth. Been out a few times and gotten skunked. Plan on going out Sunday with another guy from the forum. Hopefully we'll get something!!!
