I think you can go back and look at last weeks results. Several boats fished Waco last Saturday.

We hit lake Waco last Sunday and landed a few bass on spinnerbaits at the front left quadrant close to the mouth of the Bosque. Me and the wife will be out there Saturday morning trying it again.

B-Man, welcome to the forum and here's a little Intel on Lake Waco. Last week most of the crappie were hold up 35 to 45 foot deep water coming out late in the evening the feed in 25 foot. Water temp was 46. Most fish were caught in the evening with early morning producing small results. However as of 2 /11/15 the water temps have risen to 53 in the main Lake. The fish have departed these the holes. I feel the sun's radiant energy has given them enough energy to start looking for a place to lay the eggs. 57 the and 59 in years past seem to be the magic number to get them up shallow. I would first concentrate in the tributaries that have a rocky bottom these tend to warm up faster than a muddy or a dirt bottom. THE KEY IS FINDING BAITFISH. Use your sonar spend some time looking for the ball the baitfish. When you find the baitfish look for structure in that area. Probably not in a show many fish on the structure right now as they will be scattered for the next week or two. When you find one of these locations that has a lot of baitfish and some structure you will find crappie. Now if you want to concentrate Crappie in one spot you can bait that brush pile with scent attractant and bring the baitfish to the structure. When you fish you can also scatter out some of this attractant and excite the baitfish and also the crappie works as a bite stimulator as well. I've got advertisements in another post for it. CRAPPIE KING CAKES ARE A BITE STIMULATOR AND BAITFISH ATTRACTANT !
