With the lake down 7 feet+, how difficult is it to get up to the grass beds? Are the boat lanes still safe?
Is the grass getting more widespread or is it still spotty?

Haven't seen any Coots, but I've seen a lot of Mud Hens....And that's what they're scrounging in....mud.
Guess I'll jack my motor in the air, pull up the TM and force my way thru the 6" deep water. Hope the farmer doesn't mind me dredging my Buzzbaits thru his front yard!

There is grass out here. You are not gonna see mats as its a couple of feet under the surface but when you run a bait in those areas you will foul in it. You also can use your depth finder to locate it. Coots are a good way to find it too.

Colts? It's a little early for mares to be foaling, isn't it?

Coots. Damn auto correct.

That being said I hope folks keep thinking there is no grass. More fish for those that know it's here.
