Does anyone use a glass bead on a t rig like you do on a c rig? When do you use one?

I use one at night a lot, just for the added sound.

"What are you trying to catch with that bait, a shark?"

I usually don't but that is just out of habit. I certainly would add to the sound of the rig. If you use a tungsten weight don't use a glass bead, use a plastic one.

In certain situations yes!- it can be a REAL good thing. My night fishing pb was with a tx rig and brass/glass bead.

I am not making any decisions until the bourbon kicks in!

I usually don't but that is just out of habit. I certainly would add to the sound of the rig. If you use a tungsten weight don't use a glass bead, use a plastic one. Glass beads with a tungsten weight will produce the most sound, although the glass bead breaks if it hits something hard ( rock etc.) with tungsten weight on the cast. Then your line gets nicked or cut. Plastic beads are for looks or knot protection only, no sound.
