So we know what Ketchn has had luck with the last few trips but what are your go to jigs? I'm still a newbie that has become "hooked" on the thump and use mostly bobby garland plastics and slab daddy jigs. The last 2 or 3 springs my most consistent catchers have been slab daddy parrot head and mr. Automatic. I'm just curious of what some of your go to jigs and colors are. I want to expand my selection which will most likely just create more confusion for me but I want to have some known producers. So what say you?

My go to jig on Palestine is purple flash, BUT this year it got taken off every trip and black shad plastic put on!
Richland Chambers made me take my chicken off and use silver shad plasic ..... The go-to don't work all the time and you need SEVERAL go-to's!!!!

Probably a more accurate question is, which ones do you make sure not to run out of? My limited crappie experience shows that my go to is not always a go to but I always have those with me.

For crappie fishing one of the best plastics places is here in Texas. Not only is it fun to fish their stuff but fun to just look thru their site. Crme Lure Company of Tyler, Texas

Jig Man and Silentkilla, good to see some real crappie jigs and this site. Some times I get the feeling I am the only one here that understands crappie. I hope both of you will try a tail of polar flash in silver on a few of these jigs.
