I'm taking a guy from Ohio who is in the Dallas area for training the next few weeks out to Lake Gilmer on Saturday. He posted under the name Erie Rider. He found the forum and posted looking for a backseat while he is in town.
Any current reports or advice on Lake Gilmer? I've fished it quite a bit just not recently (last fall). You can PM me if you don't want to "spill the beans" on an open forum.
I'll report back how we did. I hate giving information and then not hearing how the trip went.
Thanks!

Yea watermelon fluke is one of my go to baits on that lake. Also a watermelon Senko type bait fished wacky style. Thanks!
