If someone could send me a PM pointing me in the right direction on where to get large gizzard shad I would appreciate it. IT seemd to be harder to find shad than fish right now.

I am new to all this big blue fishing but tried it last year during March and got hooked catching several large fish, biggest was 51 lbs.
Gave it another shot Tuesday evening with some frozen shad I had left over and caught a few eaters, an 18 and 48 pounder and lost another one bigger than the 48 right at the boat when it wrapped around a tree.

I will be more than happy to share were and how I caught these for some shad information in a PM.

Thanks for the help. I have been fishing Tawakoni and live on Ray Hubbard.

Find them on your graph in deep water or look in the backs of creeks and coves in shallow water.

I fish Ray Hubbard with fresh shad every week, only I catch them currently are in 20 - 40 feet of water. I haven't marked any running shallow.
