Ok need help with this, I need to have new carpet installed in my boat. I have an 18' aluminum and the carpet has seen it's days in this Texas environment. Anyone know a reasonable place to get this done. I'm not a rich dude by no means. Instead of getting another boat I will fix this one for crappie chasing. Thanks helpsign

Highly recommend these guys. Especially if you have an aluminum boat.
Local guys (catfisherman) around Lavon are the reps and install this.

they are getting rave reviews

Do it yourself. It's a little time consuming but, not difficult. Hey, it's a fishing boat, not your living room!

We may be too far from you, but we can do it. We're in Royse City. My shop # is 972-635-6262
Whatever you do, DON'T install carpet with spray glue, from a can. It doesn't last and causes a sticky mess, that's near impossible to get rid of. Also, be suspicious of a really cheap price. Good marine carpet will be about $200, wholesale, just for the carpet.

P.M. me or visit http://www.rockwalltint.com for info on upholstery or window tint.
Happy fishing!
God bless

Mine came from Home Depot. Holding up very well so far.
Glued down with carpet glue applied with a trowel.

4 rolls to do a 17.5ft tracker

BTW it is a good deal of work and whatever somebody charges is probably well worth it.

Do it yourself! It's not that bad, and saves a TON of money. Go to bassboatcentral.com forums in the restoration section and have at it. All it takes is carpet, shears, a razor scraper, some Goof Off, and some Dap Weldwood contact cement. For an aluminum boat you can use a wire drill attachment to get all the old glue off. Makes it much easier. I had ZERO experience when I did mine a couple years back. Here's some before/after:

Rook have ya had a chance to check us out yet ? yes its a little bit more expensive than carpet but you will never have to worry about that carpet replacement anymore . we have a 17 foot aluminum boat waiting for us to get through with a 22 ft CC right now . Carpet on the side walls and safefloor on the floor ..
