 Spawning Beds.....

With the 'Spawn' fast approaching, I decided to make up five of these 'Spawning Beds' and deposit in a local body of water.  A friend gave me the idea but wasn't as satisfied with the first design so started looking for a better base. Was driving up a local road when I spied 2 4' sections of this 12" plastic sewer pipe and decided to give it a go. Was easy to split in half and then drill to accept the PEX and bamboo. No weight was added but it sank like a rock and should stay put. They are sitting in 4 - 5' of water and you can't see them from deck height. Will let you know how they work in the weeks to come.

I have them but why would you need them to find that exact spot on my driveway?
