redoing the wire in my pathfinder. after 13 yrs of fixing, replacing and adding stuff, it was pretty bad. i'm not an ele
ctrician, so it doesn't look like a Yellowfin, but it's looking a lot better.
still have the trolling motor batteries and the rear battery compartment to do. also have a leak in either the jack plate reservoir or the power pole tank, keep getting milky oil in the bottom of that compartment. and the story never ends!

That is a great job! Wiring is such a pain. Any idea what it cost you for all the wiring?

wasn't bad, about $60 or $70 for wiring and heat shrink connectors. the fuse box was about $35 and buss bar about $10. most other stuff was reused from original. did buy a new battery maintainer for the troll motor batteries and it was right at $200.got everything on hold again. i decided to cut into the fuel tank and give it a real scrubbing on the inside. want to get rid of all traces of the ethanol residue in there before buttoning up the console.

OK-got the hole cut and you won't even believe what i got out of the tank. check it out. i'll build a couple flanges later in the week and post pics of the patch.

pure ethanol. tan when wet and dries to a fine grey talc. tank is spotless now. after i button it up, i'll go thru the filters and screens.

got the flange made and installed. new sending unit, pickup foot and cut off and replaced about a foot of the fill hose also. need to cut a pc of starboard to cover and seal the hole in the floor. then back to the wiring.
