I am very new to crappie fishing. The only way I ever crappie fish is in the spawn with minnows and a float. I normally fish for catfish and have no problem with that. So I have an open seat on the boat, and I'm looking for someone that would like to go out regularly. All I ask in return is for you to teach me the basics of crappie fishing. Also I'm just 5 minutes from Joe Pool so that is the lake I fish alot and have seem alot of people bringing in some nice crappie.

Also, I want have a problem buying my own lures ect. Just want to learn it first, before buying stuff that I wouldn't need.

I signed up on TFF years ago but forgot my info and never even posted anything or pm anyone. My wife found my info and I thought I would message you. I hope you find someone to go with you. I am particular who I fish with.No drinking and everything by the book. I cant go that often because I work a lot and I fish with my dad when I can. My mom passed last July and Im trying to spend as much time with my dad as possible. I would like to maybe go sometime and I to have a boat and if we take yours I insist on paying my own way.
I fish mostly fish with jigs [minnows if I have to]. I vertical fish mostly, tight line. I dont troll or cast much but ...whatever works. I catch a good amount of fish but not as good as some of these retired guys on TFF. I like the idea of talking to a catfish person. Wouldnt mind learning a little about that.

I'll meet you some weekend. I fished Joe Pool for awhile, mostly around the bridge, and I have more than enough rods, plastics, heads and handties to supply a small army.
