Any one fish on or around Hubbard even creeks. I live near and have never thrown even a rock in the lake. Just good excuse to head to bps. Any info would be great.

I have fished Rowlett Creek but not for Sand Bass which is very popular in Spring, I have also fished Three Forks below Lavon and 78 which is in your back yard both creeks are very accessible.

The Creeks at Hubbard may not see a run this year. Not enough water in the lake. Last time i drove by (which was a while ago) the mouth to the RC was dry. Hopefully enough rain since then but I doubt it. However, right around now thru April I would focus in the shallow areas near the creek mouths against the rocks. I'm sure Wooly Buggers and anything near that would get you fish. When we move into May and it warms up throw poppers early morning around the rocks and banks, specifically around Robertson Point or Park and that Marina right off Horizon drive & 30. I mean early, after 8 the top bite dies. I'd roll with a 10 - 12lb. leader, if you run into a hungry hybrid he will take you for good ride. Hope that helps. Pray for rain. Good Luck.

Anythingflies- I might check out those spots! I've never caught a hybrid or striper.
