Gonna get a lot of opinions, good and bad.

Walmart sells their deep cycle batteries (29 series) for under $100. Been using them for
over 20 yrs now and they've all performed well. You can spend a lot more but for me these are
great for the price.

Walmart batteries for me as well.... thumb

Take care of them by keeping the water level checked and you can expect a life span of four years or better....

The 31 series at Academy are $110 and will out perform anything else. That's my opinion and my experience with them.

I just bought a group 31 battery today, after calling 2 Academy stores and nobody had a clue what a group 31 battery was I gave up with them as there is not a store near me. I went to an Interstate battery store and got a 31 with no problem, all questions answered, 1050 cca - commercial battery. It fit in the same tray my group 29 did 13" wide.

it depends on how much you want to spent. If money is not a problem then blue tops. Like also said walmart is good.
