I have an old aluminum Star Craft boat that I us to use for duck hunting. It leak's at the seams and would like to fix it. Question would truck bed liner paint work on the out side to seal the seams. I was going to use some kind of anit slid paint inside. I dont duck hunt any more so I dont care if it's high gloss. I have contacted several paint companys with no results so far.

If I was you would go to home Depot and get that 3m marine adhesive sealant thats permanent in the caulking tube size and go from there.

Thanks i after spend a few hours on line. I come up with Tar Guard. It's a rubber paint designed for below the water line. It's on the pricey side you it will do what I need.
Thanks

I would put water in the boat then get under it and look for drips. Have someone help with hammer in the boat with you with a heavy hammer holding back up and buck the rivets to fill the holes. The ones that couldn't be fixed like this clean around the rivet really well and use the 5200 sealant. I personally wouldn't paint it on the inside or outside.
Put the plug in.

5200 permanent sealant. Home depot. $ 12.00 tube. 5200 has 2 different types, in the large caulking gun tube Home Depot has the slow cure, 1 WEEK, Fast cure there is only available in the small tube, I had to order it online to get the large size. This stuff will fix your problem. Unless you have a good area to leave it in for a week or more get the fast cure. Once you open it you might as well use it all up as it don't keep very long after opening.
