Big Ram mount, or a Precise Outdoor Deck-it Mount for the console if it will fit.

I mounted my 7608svx on the big RAM mount. Looks GREAT and I like how you can vary angles depending on sun light and such. I also have my echomap70s mounted on smaller RAM mount at the console so that when I'm up front on tm I can rotate 70 180degrees. I can read it very easily from front. Gives me another screen option!!

Balzout are very good and sturdy mounts. The only thing I can say about them is your don't have the full range to tighten down your graph. It has to snap into the grooves before you tighten it down. My suggestion is to put your graph on it, sit where you're going to mount and then mark your holes...don't assume that when you mount it that you'll be able to adjust it exactly like you want it.
In rough water, the Balzout is definitely the better mount.

Balzout all the way, look around for a used one I just pick one up last week for 100 local, need one more lol I have a ram and it won't hold unless water is like glass now it doesn't just fall but if I make a long run I will have to pick it up and tighten along the way.

Stop by Academy and get some of this and wrap the ball with it. http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/unique-t...&N=36977352
