Ok I kind of decided on a Talon for my 2013 FX21 Skeeter but with the latter in the way on the port side Im not sure what bracket to use. I will the 2nd one later on so I would want them mounted just alike when its all said and done.

Im sure you Skeeter guys know the answer and what brackets to use.

I put Talons on same boat no problems call Minn Kota for talon mounts. He will be by here after while and I can take a picture to send you. You loose the ladder. How are you going to get on the ladder with the Talon in the way?

I had 2 Talons on my FX for 4 years. You will have to remove the ladder. Now have 2 Blades and like them a lot better. Talons were always shaking while going down the road or on the lake. Blades are a tighter fit with no movement. Brackets on the Talons allow tree limbs to get wedge in between the boat and bracket. The Blade bracket fits snug almost touching the hull. You will also need the tilt bracket for the Talons to get in and out of your garage. Call Minn Kota and they will tell you what mounting bracket to buy. One other note is the cable wire running from the Talon to the boat can get caught up in brush or tree limbs while fishing, enjoy.

I have the sandwich mount on mine with the tilt bracket have not had the 1st problem.

You take the ladder off... Useless with the talons in the way
