I am needing to lock up my spare tire on my trailer. Obviously, there is no magic bullet that will deter all thieves from taking it, but I was curious what some of the best locks out there are for securing this might be. It is mounted under the nose of the boat where the two channels come together on the front of the trailer. Thx

+1 or the old trusty hardened chain and good lock! The problem is if they want it bad enough nothing will stop them! Everything is just a deterant.

Check out the Duralock Bolt system. All keyed to match your ignition key.

I know stuff gets stolen in broad day light, but if there is enough traffic in the parking lot and a sturdy lock/chain/cable then maybe they will just go for the easy stuff.
