I have a Mercury efi 225 and I noticed I have a possible problem with my tilt/trim switch. At the motor, I am only able to trim down (not up.). My switch at the throttle works perfectly fine up/down. I have never messed with this. I am assuming I just need to buy a new switch and replace. Where should I buy the switch. Any help/advice be greatly appreciated

It is the cowling switch or the wire connections for that switch.

Should I also replace the relays as well. Have never messed with this before. Thanks for all the info. Mr Yetts, can I place an order online for the parts. Thanks

I wouldn't change the relays unless they are needed. It wouldn't hurt to carry one extra in the boat in case you need it. Yes we can take orders over the phone and ship. We are trying to get an E-commerce store set up on line but it isn't in place yet. You can place an order on our website and we can manually process it. 972-771-4442
