Can anyone suggest a way to manage the cable from the transducer to the deck on a Terrova style assisted deploy trolling motor

Get a model with the US2 transducer and it is done for you.

Take the head off and run your transducer cable down the slot in the shaft. There's some YouTube videos that will show you how to do it. I have an Elite 7 HDI on my deck and that's what I did. I then ran the cable back down the spiraled wiring w/ existing US2 cable and into the deck to feed the sonar. Nice, neat and out of the way...

I could be wrong, but I do not think US2 supports down imagining, so that's one reason I went with the Elite 7. That and I'm a Lowrance guy....
