Now I know I said Jan 9th was the first tourn for 2015. Do any of you recall that is was 17 degress with a 15 mph wind?
And then there was Jan 22nd. The first day in January that it rained all day with temps in the low 40's. Enough so the lake came up 1/2 foot.
The thing is that we are not wusess. But most of us are older, and with flu season going around we don't need to be catchin anything serious. In 2014 we fished 23 straight tournaments and never missed one all year.

Perhaps our third first tournament of the year will be a charm. Just think of all of the big fish we caught last February.

The Lake Fork Anglers first tourney of 2015 is Thursday Feb 5 out of Oak Ridge Marina.

Registration starts at 7 AM at Oak Ridge. The tournament starts at 8 AM and runs until 4 PM. You have until 4:30 PM to bring your weigh sheets to be scored with payout to follow.

Anglers may go out of any ramp they want too.

The LFA fishes every other Thursday daytime at Lake Fork only. Persons interested in joining or fishing as a guest should PM me.
