Thinking about a lake house. Where would you go? I'd like to stay under 2 hrs from Waco. I want lake front with access, crappie and bass required. Cedar Creek has some nice places, but it might be a bit too far. Athens, Limestone, Chambers???

I have a real nice, up-dated lake house on Cedar Creek. It is technically a waterfront property, but is on a bayou. The lake is low now, but the two-tiered dock is nice. Just added a 500 square foot sun room and a new deck. Neighbors on both sides are permanent residents--- and great people. Details are in the classified section under the heading "Cedar Creek Retreat."
It was going to be my retirement place, but health issues make it necessary for me to sell it.
PM me if you have questions.
Thanks bunches---JB

Sure would like for you to see the place. It's nice, and I just reduced the price by $4,000 'cause I sold the two lots across the street.
Thanks----JB
