Yes they did! Off day yesterday with just 13 keeps, but three were close to 1.5 pounds which is a good crappie on LBJ! Gave my client three of the jigs to try out for his own on his home lake in Wisconsin. One Black Crappie went 1.45 which is just off the record of 1.52 I believe. Will post pics later.

Turns out that the record black crappie weight on LBJ was 1.40...... oops, ours was 1.45. Dangit!  Here is a pic, but they don't look that big the way the young man was holding fish...

What do you know, a Hybrid. This is a Bobby Garland Purple Mist crossed with a Halo Magic. When a Big Old Crappie comes across this KCK Jig I promise it won't be pretty. They are going to try to knock the Fuzz and Feathers right off that thing.

There is a lot ways, but easy way like the one in picture is just use short piece and tie in first. After running other piece run it over the top and tie at front. To run it up and down tie 2 pieces of chenille and twist them and then do like always.
