I recently bought a motor guide 67lb thrust t/m 24volt, and just got rid of a minkota 12volt. I think the boat is set up for a 24volt but cant tell!!! Is there a easy way to run wires from the plug in the front to the batteries in the back, and if so, how is it done. I am the most brain dead person when it comes to electrical wiring!!! Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps-if there is someone out there that can help me that would be appriciated...

no reason to run new wires just change the trolling motor wires in the back and front, but if you do need to run new wires got to the hardware store and get a fish tape, open up rod locker look under the edge should see a 11/2 pvc pipe try and keep the fish tape and wire inside, the top cap has the most room to do this

If your boat is set up for 24 you shouldnt have to do anything but install the new trolling motor. I would make sure you have AT LEAST #8 wiring in your boat for a 24v system, preferably #6. What kind of boat is it?
