I agree lots of big names that struggled today. Makes me feel a little better about fishing 3 hours without a bite today!!

My partner fished solo while I worked like a bum... He pulled out a 4th place finish without me and I couldn't be more proud of that guy! We had some really good practice days and the fish apparently decided to hang out for a week! Lol

by the way did anyone notice the guys that had big bass? they got 48th with two fish for 11.41

one of those fish weighed 9.78 lol

I thought the take off went fairly good.
We were #99 and except for the few that were in the mid 100s that did not go to the bank it was pretty decent.
First big tournament I have fished since the mid 1980s and back then we did a shotgun start
We got to the point of wearing motorcycle helmets just in case

I think you hit the nail on the head. cheep gas is helping the fishermen. even the bass open had 200

And I thought the whole time you were begging for Rayburn info was because you were fun fishing with your son and grand kids. Lo and behold you were fishing Bass Champs. Imagine that.
