I agree lots of big names that struggled today. Makes me feel a little better about fishing 3 hours without a bite today!!

My partner fished solo while I worked like a bum... He pulled out a 4th place finish without me and I couldn't be more proud of that guy! We had some really good practice days and the fish apparently decided to hang out for a week! Lol

by the way did anyone notice the guys that had big bass? they got 48th with two fish for 11.41
one of those fish weighed 9.78 lol

Take off was a cluster! 300 in a small area! Good thing ole Ish Monroe wasnt there....
We were one of the zeroes. Only caught 1 fish all day. 4lber. Threw it back at 2pm and headed to Fork! Fork is pretty tough right now.

I thought the take off went fairly good. We were #99 and except for the few that were in the mid 100s that did not go to the bank it was pretty decent. First big tournament I have fished since the mid 1980s and back then we did a shotgun start We got to the point of wearing motorcycle helmets just in case

I think you hit the nail on the head. cheep gas is helping the fishermen. even the bass open had 200 Congrats to the Madole's. Amazing turnout. Makes me wonder if gas prices have folks traveling more

Lo and behold you were fishing Bass Champs. Imagine that.
