Im going to hit up LLELA tomorrow because I think it was stocked yesterday. This will be my first time going out flyfishing in years.

What patterns should I have for LLELA stocked trout?

We got to LLELA at about noon and there were 5 other fishermen there. Only 1 was Flycasting. I was not expecting it to look like it does. I pictured something a lot more like the Trinity, this looks very much like a Northern stream.

I did not bring waders and the 5 other fishermen were wading in the only area I could cast so I didnt really get a great chance to catch anything.

One spin fisherman caught 4 'bows and a guy caught a nice buffalo while I was there.

We left after about 2 hours and I caught a 2 lb bass out of a Frisco pond.

Note to self: Buy Waders.

It's OK for practice, but don't expect to catch anything.
