Hello All! For those of you who may have an interest in learning how to build custom fishing rods or are looking to advance your current rod building skills – your opportunity is here. On February 27, 28, and March 1, 2015, the Custom Rod Builders Guild will host their 2nd Annual Regional Rod Building event at the Hilton Garden Inn in Grapevine, Texas. If you are new to rod building, Friday’s class is an instructional session that provides you with a rod blank and components and personal one-on-one tutoring. The cost is only $75 and you will walk away with a completed rod build of your own. Saturday and Sunday provides advanced rod building how-to’s from some of the best in the craft from near and far. I just built my first custom rod a few months ago using the instructional videos on mudhole.com. It turned out great and it is a lot of fun. I may look into this class. Thanks for posting!

I attended this seminar last year and it was awesome! Where else can you go and build your very own custom rod with expert guidance for only $75 bucks!?!?
