Its that time again. We are currently looking for sponsors for this event. We had a blast last year and saw some big fish weighed in. Can you fish the tournament solo or is it strictly teams

You can fish as a either a team or as a individual.

Its getting closer. Seeing more and more boats coming down. It wont belong before the big girls start moving up. Don't forget you can pre-register via mail or drop off at the Whitney Fire Station.

Be glad to help out as we have a lake house in Whitney and also own a fire extinguisher company. If you get a chance PM me with some phone numbers. Oh did I forget to tell you I love to bass fish LOL.

How many y'all expecting this year?

Not sure on how many boats we will have. We had about 30 last year and the early entries are starting to come in. I hope to have at least 30 boats.

We are trying to raise money and build a small training center from storage containers. We do except donations.

We are looking into building something similar to this facility.

Sounds good. We fished it last year and plan on being there Saturday 3/21 to register that morning.

This is the last week to get early entry fees in. Saturday is the big day. We will have a tent and Engine set up at the rest stop just out side Loffers Bend for registration. All boats must check in here prior to tournament start. We will be checking live wells and checking for life vests. Remember entry is $150 per team and $25 for big bass. We hope to see you there!

Can we stop by the Fire Department on Friday and register. Also, what time will you start checking livewells on Saturday morning?

Yes you can swing by and register at the station. We will be at the rest stop and set up by 04:30.

We are watching the weather. There will still be a tournament unless it is lightning or high winds. We will be set up at the rest area at 04:30 to start registration and boat checks. Look for the big red fire truck.
