Had some material left over from some other patterns and whipped up a quick firetiger pattern just to see what it would look like. Actually it came out much better than I would have imagined.

Nice! I don't know why It makes me think of Tomato Basil more than firetiger hahaha
Can you add vertical break up to it somehow? That'd be killer, as the high contrast color and vertical breakup/silhouette are what make me pull out firetiger.
Great work as always, keep it up!

Great work as always, keep it up! Actually been fooling with an insert I made for these molds that might let me do vertical lines via pouring instead of with an airbrush. Its a woek in progress as I want to be able to do a yellow perch pattern and now this one by pouring. Nothing wrong with aitbrushing at all but I like the challenge of doing all my pours with the plastisol to get my patterns. For the life of me I don't know why there are no firetiger color swimbaits. Figured whatr the heck. The orange and the yellow are more translucent that the pix shows too.

Your getting pretty savy with this new venture. I am pretty sure I am going to hell for all the cuss words I have dropped while learning the basics of it all. Its been a process to steal a line from Jason Garrett.... Thanks for the kind words though. Hope all is well.

what size hook and how do you rig that beast,, Large gap weighted EWG is best. Some guys like a smaller hook so just experiment. At least a 6/0 for me with 1/4oz. I make some as a line through but am out of inserts. You can use a treble though when they have the insert as it eliminates the need for a weighted hook. Cool thing about this style is you can fish alow or fast, use as a wake bait or also fish any depth in teh wtaer column you want as long as you add weight. they don't roll or foul.

Mark I'm a buyer on that one with or without the stripes that's close to the yellow perch I been catching.

That's a really nice job! A+ for sure. I'd throw that thing in a heartbeat.
