1-5-15, air temp high was 53 - water temp was 55. Fished Government cove, no shallow bite. Wind was light out of NE. Finally got 7 swimmer bass on main lake points, 18-20', drop shot'n a watermelon/red worm. Biggest about 15".

1-6-15, air temp came up to 66 with SE winds and finally some SUN. Later in the day the water got up to around 57 in the shallows, that helped that bite. In SP cove, 1 bass on spinnerbait today. Stated pitch'n hard woods,4-6', with Baby Brush Hog, Gr/Punkn. 3 bass at 4:30, then I hit the sweet spot. Power Pole down, 9 more bass to #3.5 plus 2 Crappie at #2 each. All on the Brush Hog.

Water temp has fallen to 49-55 degrees. The bass have lock jaw and bait fish and tilapia are dying by the hundreds at the dam area and county ramp. No one was catching anything in the last 4 days fishing. Worse fishing in the last 5 years fishing Falcon. Hope for a warm spell to get water temp up!!
