I know this has been discussed before, but I want to purchase molds for walleye heads(no eyes) in size 1/16 and 1/32 and no Barb. Currently I have to pour one jig at a time and do not have the ability to make a 1/32 jig. Want to be able to pour 7 at time if possible. This has to be available somehow. Thanks

I believe you have to have someone make you a custom mold.

I havent found one and usually cast the 3 smallest sizes. I did modify my mold to accept wire keepers so can cast with the keeper or without. Before I made the mods, I looked all over and the only place I found was http://www.smacktackle.com/acehandmolds.htmlUnfortunately, I have not found anyone that has used one of these molds. Maybe you will be willing to take a chance and report.

You might watch Ebay for some of the vintage molds. I think I have seen what you are looking for there. Worst case, you might have to cut the barbs off. I'll look at some of mine when I get home and see if there is one and post a pic. Check this one out. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Walleye-Crappie-...=item5416cc0d34

Friday.....been trying to get guys to make the mold. No takers. I even found a CAD 3D company that can scan for a CNC machine program. Nothing.
My humble opinion the guy really coming on strong is Jacobs Mold. I think if he gets enough emails he will bite. He is making some great molds for jigs. Just started the molds for jigs about 1 year ago. He has long been a CNC plastic mold guy.

Jacobs looks like a good maker.

Jacobs Molds are outstanding. His selection is limited but is growing. If you really want one, he can draw it yp and cut it for you. Price is high as making the 3d model then programming and proving the program is a time consuming process. I know he does it but be prepared for a high price.

Grandpa Bob made a mold for me four years ago at a very nice price. He doesn't advertise making molds on the site. Click the email link and tell him what you want. He'll have you send a sample.

Thanks Bud B! Just received two new molds from Jacob last night. 1/8 oz pill head and the 1/8 tube head that he is using to underlay into his new plastic swim bait. Both are high quality. Makes my 4th or 5th mold from Jacobs.

Thanks you. I have talked with ace hand molds. There is still a website up but he does not work from it anymore. He is still making molds, guys name is Noel Nogle. Reasonable price I thought for making a custom mold. Again thank you for the help and I will let you know how things turn out.

Have you tried the engineering dept at tsu. They were training people to run cad and Cnc stuff. It might be worth a call.

Got the mold in. Not extremely happy with it, I guess it will get me by until I find an alternative.

Just received two new molds from Jacob last night. 1/8 oz pill head and the 1/8 tube head that he is using to underlay into his new plastic swim bait. Both are high quality. Makes my 4th or 5th mold from Jacobs. I like that Jacobs 1/8 oz pill head mold a lot. It makes perfect 3/32 oz jigs for me. Not all 1/8 oz pill head jig molds are created equal, it turns out. The Do-It pill head mold makes jigs with a collar, and the 1/8 oz weighs quite a bit more than 1/8 oz. If you cut off the collar (or modify the mold to get rid of it), it makes a jig that's really 1/8 oz. I have a modified Do-It mold, and I like that jig for my deeper fishing. On the other hand, the Jacobs mold makes a smaller jig. That mold has both a collar and no-collar side. The collar side makes jigs that are 1/8 oz. The no-collar side jig has the same size head, so without the collar, it's a lighter jig. Jacobs claims 2.8 grams, which is .099 ounces, a little bigger than 3/32 (.094) of an ounce. But that's using lead. I don't pour lead. My jigs are a bismuth alloy, which is a bit lighter than lead, so I get 3/32 oz jigs out of that mold. They are my favorite jigs for my plastics. I use them under a bobber, or if I'm vertical fishing 15 feet or less, which is most of the time.
