I beleive that fishing isnt something you do its who you are. Back before we started getting into bank fishing and before Cody cought SPLASH we fished and hunted all the time. Im 1 of 3 brothers, and I can say im the only one that loves fishing and hunting as much as our dad does. Maybe because I was the oldest and got to go all the time i dont know, but I NEVER went fishing or hunting if I didnt want to go. If I wanted to go out with friends it wasnt a big deal. I wanted to spend time with him, and it didnt matter what we did together as long as we were together, and fishing was what we did the most of. So no he never forced anything on me that I didnt want to do. I loved fishing with my grandpa even before my dad started taking me out a lot. Fishing is in my blood. I have fished some really nice days with him and i have fished some really horrible days weather and fishing wise, but I always enjoy it. Im always learning something everytime I go out. We are super competitive so that helps us a lot. I want to do the best I can every time I do something, and he is the same way. Fishing is like golf to me (which i love to play) you will never beat it but only get better at it. Im just getting started in the guiding world and growing up with a dad and his friends that shared this same passon has only gotten me to the place I am today. I look foward to making my own name in the guiding world, and finally the time has come where him and I will tournament fish as a team.
