Well guys we took off at cypress bend headed towards texas islands water was rough but not to bad as we got a lil bit further down the lake the waves got higher and spread alart alot more we got 3 miles from out fishing spot and speared a wave no biggie pump kick on and pumper her out got to maggee flats and was running on my gps path line on my lowrance and the buoys were not there the wind had blew them about 100 ft away and i thought they were not suppose to move but any way it was still kinda dark we took off at 615 am and then we hit another wave and went to hit bilge pump and nothin happen it quit workin and then we hit the third one and i was setting in chest deep of water boat was completely under 2 times for about 3 to 5 seconds so i just held on hot foot to try and make it to land but motor died and by then i thought i was gona die was in 46 ft of water but to answer alot of peoples ? No the skeeter never did sink but onlu thing was out of the water was about 6 inches of the yamaha and half of my graph on a ram mount but before the last wave that we had hit i turned the boat towards a point and thank the lord the waves pushed us up on the point and we swam about 100 yards to land and by the way the game and fish said it was about 5 to 6 footers but im just thankfull the good lord had his hands on us my boat can be replaced but a life can not and on top of that we had to walk about 2 miles for help and that about sums it up guys Thankful you guys are okay. You are right a boat can be replaced. Any water temp less than 98 cools you off in a hurry.

Fun N Sun would be my recommendation if looking for a Skeeter. I know they have been # 1 Skeeter dealer in the country several of the last few years. That doesn't happen by accident.

If you are interested in saving money go online and look out of state at other Skeeter dealers. You will be amazed how much prices will vary. I ordered a new boat with all the extras plus upgrades and saved $8,000.00 compared to local dealers.

Dealers are begging for business this time of year so keep shopping and do your homework and it will pay off big.
